I can see why you would associate MLM with scheme...but that's mainly what people hear and not the total truth. It's too bad that the vast majority bashes an industry that has saved so many people from financial ruin. Corporate America hates the opportunity that MLM provides for their employees that they've done everything they can to convince people that Network Marketing and MLM is just a big pyramid scheme.

I don't know about you, but I'd rather learn from someone that backs up their knowledge than friends and family or people who have failed and are trying to keep the others from succeeding.

If that's the case, then Corporate America should be discussed as a scheme as well. Everything is a pyramid! The bottom layers have the most amount of people that are managed by another layer...and then another...until you get to the top where they make the most amount of money. Gas prices are soaring and most people are crying about it. Pharmaceutical companies are raking in profits off of people who are sick...sick from the jobs that they hate and the stress of not having enough money. You may think that jobs are awesome because you don't have to pay them INITIALLY to start working but in the long run, your chances are NIL!!! How many people do you know...just look around...who has a job that is truthfully happy with what they do and the income they make? I hate hearing everyone talking about their company won't pay them more...etc. That's why I build my own business from home...I got rid of my corporation and decided that employees aren't for me. Being one or having one.
You know the security that most people seek from a job really isn't security for them. It's security for their superiors while the employee is stuck in a rut where they can't even afford to take vacations anymore...not a drive to the nearest major city...a real vacation. I book cruises on all commissions (no salary or wage)...and people are excited about their vacation...they talk trash about their company, about their boss, about their life, etc...they hate their jobs!!! They hate their income. In fact, many of them can't go on a cruise for more than 3 days...and many of them can't go at all...because their job won't let them.
