Hi Entrepreneurs,

My business partner and I are looking at establishing a business selling cake mix in a cup. We will be purchasing cake mix from the supermarket and adding our own ingredients and then putting it in a plastic packet and selling it. I phoned up for insurance today and the ANZ refused to insure us because we are classified as food manufacturers. I was wondering if there is anyone out there that has done a similar business venture - or anyone that sells food products and how you got insurance and the health and safety obligations you have to meet. I am based in Australia.
