Institutional lenders now allowed at Prosper.com

    Hey All,

I'd emailed Prosper some time ago about signing up my corporation as a lender, to which they replied that it couldn't be done at the time but they were working on a solution. Well, I just got an email yesterday with links to information about their new Institutional Lender account setup. It is exactly the same as for personal accounts, but you have to send in some additional paperwork via fax before the account is able to be used. I'm not positive I'm going to start investing at the moment, but I'm opening it now so that at any point I can.

You have to contact Propser first via this contact form and they will send you an email with a link to the registration form. Be sure to mention that you are interested in opening an account. I'm not sure yet if I'd be able to get a loan through an institutional account, but we'll see.

    That sounds interesting.
