I have developed an innovative product which is a pair of scissors with a bubble level embedded in the blade to help keep the scissors straight during use. The scissors are incredibly comfortable and the bubble level adds a fantastic feature for use with the scissors itself or can be used around the house, etc.

I have a patent on my product and right now I am just reaching out to as many businesses, etc. as possible to see what kind of interest there might be.

Who is your target market?

I'm sure you know not everyone will want to have your new scissors. Identifying your market helps you in creating a niche that will get your marketing message right.

I have to say people have been using scissors for a long long time and i am trying to work out why would they want one with a level in,i would have thought the human eye was as good as a level.Can you expand on why this would be a break through or is it aimed at a niche market because i cannot see why people would buy them over a pair of normal scissors ???

First of all, you are 100% correct in that everyone knows how to use a pair of scissors. but if you can buy a pair at the same price as a normal pair of scissors but has an added feature, why not? And, like I said before, at some point in time, everyone needs to have a levewl around the house for hanging a picture or a shelf, etc. and this product delivers on that need as well. I am not suggesting that people can't cut a straight line without it but for arts and crafts and hobbyists, etc. it is a fun feature to have attached on the scissors.
