Innovation or Renovation?

I'm an aspiring entrepreneur looking for different opportunities to QUIT my job and start something NEW, and I just ran across these 2 guys starting sort of like an online concierge business. I just want to know your opinion.

The name of the business is Convenian.

Through the site, you can order dry cleaning, house cleaning, transportation, pet grooming, etc and pay with credit card online. They also have sort of like a concierge service where they'll make your dinner reservations, etc online. There is no cost to utilizing these guys service either.

I currently run a part time mobile car wash business, and these guys wanted to sign a contract with me for an exclusive right to all their requests. It won't cost me any money, I just have to give these guys a 15% discount (and I guess this is how they make money).

I don't see how I would lose money on this, but I wanted to get other people's opinions! Any feedback would be helpful.

If partnering up with these guyswill bring you more business, why not? Just check the fine print on any contract you sign.

Thank you for the response. I guess what I'm wondering is, instead of creating another account (for invoices, billing, etc), I want to make sure that this Convenian.com is going to be a BIG THING.

I've heard of a business like this in the past and they all failed (see MyLackey.com). I just don't want to be left with bunch of bills unpaid...

So the real question is, what do you think about Convenian? Innovative?

lol, the middle class is setting new records for home foreclosures, anybody with money is asking "can god pay my margin call?", people can hardly afford to buy groceries, the economy is going into a recession and most professionals are nervous about being made redundant

of course, in these times it makes sense to engage the services of a "personal web concierge", because there is just no where else i can think of putting my vast, vast fortune
