Well , as the title says I'm in need of some direction . I'm in a bit of a situation with a few ideas which at some point in the VERY near future I would like to Patent with the idea of selling the ideas or maybe even the products . I'm hoping to come across a very well know patent law firm , maybe one which has been used by someone on this forum . The ideas which I have very in their worth as well as in their need but because of what they deal with makes me a bit nervous . My ideas deal with oil ( actually gasoline ) and thats a subject which is VERY well protected by many in the oil industry . I'm open to ideas from individuals who have had interactions with these situations ( high profile patents ) and have had a successful outcome . Example , one of my ideas will give someone with an older car ( or new car ) the ability to have 50-70 mpg yet have 700hp on tap with the very same gas . Anyone who has taken the time to read this and wishes to contact me with some help will get many thanks form me . This is something I would love to move forward with but due to a situation with an attempt at a patent back in the 80's by others known to me I have many concerns in doing this which is why I'm looking for some ideas .

The product was tested , it tested great ; and now I just need to find a way of making it or selling the idea with no major issues like death - LOL ..

If you need help with a patent and marketing I would try InventHelp, "The Invent Help People": Have an Invention Idea? if you just need a patent you can try LegalZoom: Online Legal Document Services: LLC,Divorce,Wills,Incorporation & More. Once you're 100% done with ALL your paper work I would love to know how it all turns out , I'm not all that sure about those places , lol

I used Legalzoom.com to incorporate one of my companies and found them to be very efficient and quick. I was about to use them to apply for a patent until I went to Invent Help. For the same price (about $1200) I was able to apply for a preliminary patent and I was able to get (in 5-8 more weeks) a market analysis of my invention. This is the reason I went to Invent Help for the patent instead of Legalzoom.com.

I'll update you once I get my market analysis and preliminary patent (approval hopefully).

that works man !! The incorporation is the easy part , my concern is getting the patent and more so with what it deals with in my case .

Don't worry dude, this isn't the Gilded Age, Rockefeller family goons won't kill you for having a fuel saving idea. In fact, even the Rockefellers realize that oil won't last forever. Either they're backing alternatives or making plans to buy the biggest guns on the planet so as to enslave everybody else when the oil runs out and society crumbles. The fact that GM is building an all fuels car should tell you something. Contrary to popular opinion, the oil barons don't want to use up all the oil as fast as possible so they can use their gold to become feudal lords.

Seriously man you have no idea how this little world of ours works !!! I had 3 VERY close people to me go through some crazy shit years back because of the development of a big engine . I really do not want to get into what happen but if you really think that we do not have people always keeping down new ideas for alternative fuel etc you are out your mind man !! Trust me give me 20 billion dollars and tell me to make a small town disappear and I can promise you this - one you will have to pay taxes , you at some point will die and that the small down will disappear !!!!! Trust me , when we're talking about that type of money anything can and will happen - don't believe me yet ; just turn on the news if you haven't seen the wars we're in .

GM builds junk cars that make no real power and yet they build these 7 mpg SUV's so go figure !

I wish I never did spend the better part of my young life working overseas ! I also wish I never did the things I did for this country and seen the things I've seen with my own eyes and not in this thing we call NEWS . I also wish I can live in your world and forget about my own ..
