I've always had a pretty poor memory, which as you can imagine is not good in business! Does anyone have any tips on improving memory?

I once read to help improve memory, play the childs game Memory, I too have a poor memory, but playing this game has helped.

FIRST of all, don't say you have a bad memory.
Tell yourself you have a good memory.
Whenever your forget something say to yourself, "That shouldn't have happened, I have a good memory."
Concentrate, concentrate.
When you do things always reiterate it in your head.
Learn to do this with anything you feel is important.
If you want to remember to return a library book just say in your head every few minutes, "Remember to return the library books."
Well it worked for me.
So basically I did two things.
I told myself I had a good memory and that I was not forgetful.
Then I reinforced it by actually concentrating. I kept things lingering in my mind if it was that important.
Eventurally my positive thinking and force of habit caused me to remember near everything.
THAT is all.
