I've asked myself that question many times recently. If you have the money, and want to be sure of finding a genuine supplier, contract a company to find a supplier for you. Many companies do this, I've had contact with a few. I've decided to find the supplier myself though as at the moment I don't want to pay $100-$600 to find a supplier whe, with a bit of work, I can do it myself.
    PM me to discuss further.

You guys can PM me. There is a lot more to worry about other than just the supplier. Especially in clothing. There are quotas on amounts of clothing allowed to be imported as well as customs fees that can be increased dramatically with the smallest things such as adding a pocket. So we'll talk. The other hard thing is finding a legit company to find a legit manufacturer.

Whatever you do with China make sure that before you get into a big business deal/partnership with a company there, you visit them personally.
If you can, invest 1500 dollars in a trip there so you can see the country, see the company you'll be dealing with, and get used to the business etiquette.

There is a big difference between talking over the phone and the Internet, than talking and meeting in person with the people you are going to do business with.

Take my advice. I've been to China, I've deal with Chinese before, they are really great in business and relationships, and in many other things, but make sure you know them face to face first.

1500 dollars is nothing compare with what you will learn!
    Good Luck!

I totally agree. Spend the money and take a trip over there to meet with the potential suppliers. If you cant do it yourself, have or hire someone to represent you to visit them. It shows them how serious you are to do biz with them. It would male it much easier to work with them later on. It is worthy.

What stuff are you guys looking for here? I have been doing business with Chinese suppliers for years and I have many connections. I may be able to help someone here. Just PM me.

    :-)

I think this is a waste of time... takes so long, and how do you plan on selling what you get? Too much leg work.
