I'm currently a commerce student but I've got this idea of importing some foodstuff from overseas that I extremely like. And I think there is a market for these products here too.

Things on my mind now are packaged foodstuff like biscuits and snacks. To be exact, the brands I want to import from are Malaysian. Has anyone imported from Malaysia before?

I want to hear from anyone who has imported stuff from Malaysia to Australia, specifically packaged foodstuff. I want to know about the procedures, things to look out for or just general advice! I've looked through the Australian customs site but couldn't really find any info on how to get started.
