I'm working on a portfolio at the moment but what do you think of my prices?

I run a web design firm, i've run it casually for few years but as college comes to an end i wanna go pro, that gives me till september to get into a regular business routine.

The query of setting prices came up and i'm looking for some advice, what do you think of the price levels i've set here?
    Design Packages | TigerWebStudios

I'd welcome feedback on them and the site and as much advice for getting running as possible please guys, i know how helpful you can all be
    Regards
    Tom Knox

Please take this as positive criticism as I'm trying to help!

The prices are average for the market you are in, but judging by the layout of your website you are not at the level other companies are at, therefore I suggest lowering the price or improving the look of your site.

Also, many of the sentences also show a lack of experience and proffesionalism, I would just give it a read over and not try to sell the things by offering too many adjectives. Also remove the smiley faces and such like that, people will be happy with the discount but the smileys make it look a bit child-like.

    I hope this helps.

Im not a web designer but I do have an interest in IT and from what I know, and as matter of opinion, I would centralise all of the text and the text bg. I would also have the navigation in a horizontal bar above the text box, also central.

Thats all the advice I can offer you I think! Now that I've helped you, will you give my blog a read at My life of doing nothing and also giving me a follow or some feedback would be very appreciated. I will look up on the changes you make and give you a new opinion.

    Thanks

It's important not to bins oneself with limiting design criteria. Textual tweaks and content adaptions are understandable but that design has had majority good feedback from businesses

Where is your portfolio? If i cant see your past work, no way will i hire you based solely on your own site, regardless of your pricing. It's quite honestly not a matter of limiting design criteria, as it is a matter of bad design. It's rather blocky...and needs a better choice in colors...it doesn't show much element of "design" at all really...I also don't see any element of current web 2.0 standards that would be expected from designers in 2011. I guess it would be okay if it were the early 2000's but come one dude...it's 2011

I think the prices are alright, but you should focus on getting a sample portfolio. I wouldn't buy unless I knew what you were capable of doing. Are you focusing on people from the United States or United Kingdom? I wouldn't want to buy in pounds.
