    yep - it sucks

try something starting with a, b, or c

try to match your key words, keep it short, make it memorable (so when people search for it - they don't get similar results)

Why not call it: Another IT Company, LLC? Lol, j/king. I wouldnt suggest starting off with the letter W... Like akula said, A, B, and C are very good candidates. That, or you can always call it WIT solutiones, Williamson IT... Sounds very established and proffessional.

Yea, put a relevant keyword in there.
If you want to be rich, sell products and services.
If you want to be insanely rich, create and control markets.

WIT Solutions actually sounds pretty good.

The best way to name a company is to find a URL that you like, then use that. http://www.witsolutions.com doesn't appear to be taken, but you should do a lookup on it.

I believe that you can register the same name only once in each state, but as far as the creativity involved... If it is something bland and generic, such as Smith and Doe Repairs, it may fly, but opening a restaurant call "Nike's Sbarro'esque bar and grill" wouldnt... Correct me if I'm wrong, all you self-proclaimed legal guru's!

    Think marketing.

The name should have a ring to it... it should spell out what you do, yet be infectious, making people talk about it, whether they are discussing (a) how clever it is, (b) or what it means because the name is slightly confusing... in other words if you take this route, it should be a little hard to decipher, but not too hard... so people talk and go, "OHHH... yea... cool... I get it... HAHAHA..." Yet, not stupid and too comical so they don't take you seriously.

Geek Squad is a great example.

kozuch82 is fucking around, but has it right. Sit down with a few beers with friends, and play this game. The goal is to come up with 30 names of this new business together. What happens is you'll come up with a bunch of crap, and a few gems. This is the trick all branding companies, advertising companies, etc.. do... but without beer.
