I get asked this question alot since I am always talking to people saying "ONE DAY, ONE DAY!...so my question is to you.....if money did not exist or it was no issue of getting money, what kind of website/software would you love to invent and develop...

Life with no money... can't we use a better perspective... like money grows on tree's. In that case, I'd invest in a Money Tree Service not really big on nature, but hey, when you got a tree spitting out money, everybody would wrap the idea up

With enough money i would probably try some kind of social sites like myspace, squidoo. It must be good designed and stable sites on very fast servers.
Then hiring somebody or some company to start promotion of your site with goal to get high ranked on most searched words through organic search.
With enough money and good SEO company or better say individuals you can reach top position after a couple years on SE and social sites are still very very popular.

I would totally boost up my web development company, Fund several small projects I have on the side. I would also try and lease a small office. If I have any money left over I would invest it in mutual funds.

I'm confused. Why would someone want to screw with developing a website or an application if money weren't the driving force?

I love the racing scene. Illegal or legal. I just love the adrenaline rush. Anyways, I purchase Underground Racing.com and develop it into the largest online community for the underground race scene.

It Would Include the Following:
  • Members area with a free account available. Free account would have access to the forum, videos, classifieds and store with no discounts available at the store. The subscription would give access to everything the free account does but will give a percentage discount at the store. The accounts will have a profile editor, like MySpace. Actually exactly like MySpace but for cars and drivers
  • Online Forum for race talks, parts, installation, etc
  • Racing Video to watch. If they send them in, we will edit them to blur out plates and faces. Also edit any voices that might be recognizable.
  • Classified section to buy or sell parts and cars.
  • Online store for everyone. Includes performance parts, custom body parts (body kits, spoilers, fenders, etc.), interior accessories, etc. Discounts available for members
  • A blog where pro racers are paid to post, or there writer is paid to post, what they know about performance, handling, braking. Pretty much an online racing magazine.
To be honest, I am working on the plan for it right now for financing options and to see the income potential through the store and advertising space. But, its only in its planning stage and will be there for the next few months. Wish me luck.

I wouldn't build software or a website, but would open a solar panel store and sell renewable energy.
