Entrepreneurial Learning Through A Social Network (sponsored post)

Gogme.biz is a new business-oriented social network that focuses on entrepreneurial learning and turning business ideas into reality. Anyone in the community can propose business ideas which others can brainstorm, vote and rate. The most popular ideas will be implemented collaboratively by site members who sign up to become co-owners of a new business entity. Decisions are made collectively, profits are distributed amongst all co-owners and daily business activities are updated through blogs and twitters.

The objectives of the first Gogme, Gogme Learning Alfa are:-

- Create a wide array of small businesses to give co-owners explicit business knowledge in different trades
- Encourage co-owners to start related businesses that Gogme LA and the online community can provide assistance
- Allow co-owners to bid for franchises or takeovers once the created small businesses become profitable and sustainable

We believe the best way for a person to learn entrepreneurship is by being an entrepreneur. Some things in life you can only learn by experience and entrepreneurship is a constant state of discovery. Through a fun and participatory approach in imparting business knowledge and skills, we hope to facilitate entrepreneurial learning and allow aspiring entrepreneurs to gain experience into the inner-workings of the business world.

Visit Gogme.biz, a free business-oriented social networking site to find out more!

Feel free to tell us in this thread alternate ways to learn entrepreneurship or turning business ideas into reality.

wow... can you change the head line to "Give Away Your Ideas and Get Nothing in Return - Guaranteed!"

I've seen this idea 100 times... every time its the same... people DO NOT GIVE THEIR IDEAS AWAY... You need a much different approach...

Try this: Submit your business summary and find partners willing to launch your business. Create a legal channel that gives the people with the ideas protection from those seeking ventures. This is the only way it will work.

I know it has been mentioned many times on this site; but why would someone just share their business idea with other entrepreneurs?

I like the concept of the site. However, I personally wouldn't go on and give my ideas away to strangers.

It is still easy for someone to run with someone else's idea this way. I am not sure that any site that tries to do this would work. Finding a partner is ALWAYS face to face with me. I would never post an idea on a web site, no matter how secure or how much legal protection there was.

Thanks for the all the advice. We really appreciate it. We are encouraging our community to contribute ideas that for reasons, they are unable to implement it alone. How much is an idea worth if it is not implement? Ideas are a dime a dozen. We are not asking our users to contribute their business plan, not even their business summary. Just simple business idea that do not even need to be original, ideas that they come across from internet or anywhere else. The true worth of an idea is through its implementation. We hope to implement business ideas collectively with aspiring entrepreneurs from all over the world.

I don't give my ideas to the public, it's like giving away your strategies. Maybe you can give advice and some resources, but the whole concept, it's not good for me.

Ideas contribution is not compulsory but encouraged. If an idea cannot be patented, it will be copied sooner or later. There are many websites or blogs that give away hot business ideas. True value of an idea is created on the execution. We hope to get entrepreneurs involve in the execution of ideas.

We are trying to create an 'open-sourced' business. We hope to facilitate young and aspiring entrepreneurs to learn entrepreneurship; letting them to run a business over the internet, participate in decision-making and network with one another. Through interaction and sharing, entrepreneurs will gain business knowledge that is essential when they start their own business.

Individual success and personal financial gains are some of the key motivating factors that draw a person to become an entrepreneur. As such, we have a reward system for our contributors. The more they contribute; the higher chance of gaining franchises and business takeovers.
