Perhaps you could start with a business that requires virtually no start up costs...lawn moving or something? Use the profit from that to work up enough capital to do the next thing...just thinking.

what do you like about music?

maybe you can start a review site? Or a new release site? Or a forum for peopleto discuss a favorite band, etc.

Use affiliate marketing to monetize your traffic.

what iw ould do at 13 is download all the new movies/ new albums coming out illegally and burn them to a cd then sell them at school, and after you get 1000-2000$ then start a business where you can go to school and while your sitting there learning your still making money, like a hot dog stand or something
You can't achieve your goals if you don't take that chance so go pry open your trunk and take those amps.

I think this is a great idea... Why? its simply hard to startup any business without some capital, especially at a young age... So go after something with a great profit margin, but make sure to shut down once things start to get too big... I know I could easily buy hundreds of knockoff products with 500-1000% profit margins. If I needed the money to run a legit business this may be my best chance at earning it... Its illegal, but you gotta take a risk somewhere..

Just remember to shut down shop when things start to get big, don't get greedy, remember this was only to make a few thousand dollars to start something worthwhile

But for those margins you must convince that you sell originals, thats the hardest part

Actually its not that hard.. Because when you sell them at 50-75% off the original/real item price, people will buy, and if those people don't know they are buying a knockoff, they are ignorant. So basically, its a mutual relationship... You are providing knockoff goods for a great profit at a super low price for people that are looking for just that..

What am i doing!!! I arguing about why selling knockoffs is good.

Honestly, I would never sell knockoffs, it will destroy your integrity, possible get you in trouble, never make real money, and cause you to live in fear of getting busted.
Anyways, I like to argue so im not gonna jump sides, but if there is a thread about why not to sell knockoffs ill have plenty to say and agree with about that.

haha good one..no offense to the OP, but I do not think a 12 year old trying to rob a liquor store would be taken seriously...use your brain here.

Isn't this highly illegal and could result in trouble with the police?
