Idea Protection

I run a very small software development business. I am the only employee. Recently, I have been interviewing potential associates (sales/marketing/co-developers, etc.). I have a few products that I am discussing with the interviewees and use a small document w/ descriptions and some screen caps of the products.

I am also discussing some long term ideas I have for the existing products and some ideas for future products to help fuel the discussion and screen my future assocs.

Should I be concerned that the information I am giving out could drive the future assoc to become a competitor instead of a colleague?

Is there something I could have them sign to protect my ideas?

Have them sign non-disclosure agreement if you must share an idea. You should not have to tell them your ideas to ask them questions to find out if they might be qualified. Good Luck

Thanks... I will do that.

I feel like I need to show them what I am doing so they can provide input on whether they think they can sell/market or help me improve it.

I looked at a non-disclosure agreement and it looks like that should protect me... If anything it'll make them think before they try to rip me off!
