Ok so i was talking before about looking for a cofounder who is a hot shot web developer and being that i am a business major, its hard for me to network with people who have this skill. Anyways i have an idea that might not be the most conventional for finding a partner but i wanted to get some feedback on if you think it would work and how to slowly ease into this kind of random relationship and ultimately bringing them on as a partner. My idea is to just search the web for freelance and small developer portfolios and then emailing them a little bit about me and that i am looking for a cofounder. Then hopefully over a month or so i can start to really get to know the people i reach out to and then end up finally ending up with the most suitable one to become my partner. My main concern is since i have no previous connection with any of these people, i need to protect myself and my ideas. Any advice, tips, concerns, or any feedback at all on this would be great.
