Smile I want to start a T-Shirt Company

Hello My name is Louis, I am Almost 15 years old and I want to start a tshirt company, I am not focusing on getting rich, Mainly for myself a bit of extra money and also the experience of running a business. i am quite good at designing graphics and things so i am not in need of ideas it just want to know about how to go about it.

For example i have read alot of things about it sooo.. For my prototype i would get that tshirt transfer paper and print the graphics out to see if my business takes off as i dont want to splash out for a heat press if i get no sales.

One other thing how do i go about buying the tshirts, if i get normal blank shirts is it copyright due to the tags or do i take those out but how do i get my own tags ect??

    Please Help me

    Kindest Regards

    Louis Robinson

WOW! Great to see a young and ambitious mind taking a nab at entrepreneurship! Good for you man! As for the t-shirt business, you have to keep this in mind that there are tonnes of people in the business and the ones who are succeeding at it are the ones who are innovating and marketing the most. They have built their own niches around their product and created a "following" of customers, people who believe in their movement etc. For example, the company "Life is Good" has its own very interesting story by the founders and that story, humble and simple, has given them weight when they started marketing. Today, they make millions of dollars against the likes of NIKE, ADIDAS etc. because they have an amazing story and cause. What is your movement or cause? Are you donating to charity? Are you catering to a niche audience?

For getting blank t shirts, just google for that. Here is one company that might be helpful: BlankShirts.com - Wholesale Name Brand T-Shirts and Apparel

Hope that helps. Even if you don't make a buck, at least you tried. That experience is far more valuable than doing nothing or something negative. Good for you for trying to achieve success at your age. Remember, "The starting point of all achievement is desire." (Napoleon Hill). You are an example for others! Good luck!

you might want to check out a local tshirt printing shop and see if they are willing to sell you some of their stock tshirt overruns. A lot of times they have plenty of blanks that need to go because of cancelled orders, etc. its worth asking.
