I want to start a niche online store, and I want to start coming up with ideas but it has been hard. Does anyone have experience in something like this? If so any advice would be great.

Also what is a good site that I can search keywords and see how popular they are?

Well, I don't have experience in starting an online niche store (I will soon though doing templates for a web app) but what you are going to sell really depends on what your capable of. Also, searching keywords won't really help seeing as you want a niche which hasn't already been done. Have you thought about the whole area of 'green good' as it seems to be a bit of a hot spot at the area...

That could be a possibility I did a search for "green products" and it's not too competitive.
