I want to start a home based business!

    Hi all,
I’m new to this message board. I hope you will suggest me a right direction. Actually I have small budget and want to build a home-based service business at my own place but I am confused, what type of business I should start. Could you people suggest me for any business that could I do well and get more profits? Your suggestions will be highly appreciated. Thanks!

I suggest you don't do anything web related. The simple fact is that its extremely saturated and to make any money takes years of coding knowledge that you don't have. Find a service business that you can make a niche for and stick with it.

My only suggestion is do something that YOU have a passion for. I was forced to sell Cookie Dough in Highschool. Didn't have the passion and thus sales were crap.

Follow your heart, and if at first you don't succeed. Keep on trying!
The only way you can truly fail, my friend, is to stop trying.

But do some RESEARCH BEFORE your try! It helps.

Ever thought of a wellness related business to cater to the needs of people who are concerned with their health? According to world renowned economist, Paul Zane Pilzer, wellness is the next Trillion Dollar industry. Don't know by a "home based business" you mean like a network marketing business, but if so, by combining network marketing with wellness, you could have a pretty good match. Usually these businesses you can get started for just a couple hundred bucks too.

Hello fellow business minds was wanting to poke some brains if anyone has any answers. I am creating an online shoe retail store, but I am having a hard time finding credible suppliers. All of the suppliers I keep running into I am also finding their names on internet scam list for selling faulty products and replicas of the shoes. (alot mainly from China and Hong Kong). Do anyone out their know or have done business with a shoe supplier/drop shipper that I might be able to check out. Also do anyone have an Idea how do you contact these major shoe companies, like the Nike's and Addidas to do this type of business with them if it is at all possible? If anyone has any answers to these questions I would be very greatful

No one knows what business you want to do..
    Only YOU will know..

    Look within yourself for answers..
You might want to consider these questions:

    1) What do you like to do?

    2) What's your passions that will get you going, even when the tough is goíng..

    3) What's your expertíse, experiences you got to offer..

    4) What's your current resources(time, $, people etc) you can tap into, & what kind of support you will be needing..

    5) Lastly, are your ideas & offerings profitable enough, sellable enough & provide value enough for people to pay you..

Answer those questions for a start, then we can proceed to the next stage of getting the right mindset in your business & how to make it work..
