First I would like to introduce myself as I am new to the forums. My name is Michael, and I am based out of New York. My "real job" is a sales executive for Pitney Bowes.
About 7 months ago my partner and I started an ATM business. We quickly found that it can be extremely profitable and requires very little time, and a small amount of capital (~$2k per machine plus money to stock it with). We currently have 4 locations and are looking to expand, however it is very difficult to find premium locations, as most of them are taken.
In the mean time I am looking for other ventures to begin as I have more money sitting in the bank than I would like, making a measly 1% interest.
I was introduced to Mall/Hotel kiosks which could be profitable but are probably hard to find advertisers right now which is where the majority of the revenue would come from.
Can anyone suggest other start up businesses that don't require an exorbitant amount of capital, little to moderate time maintaining, and giving a decent return? Thanks!
