Question I need to get seed money to start a corporation

Does anyone know how to get seed money to start a corporation? I want to own a bunch of night clubs under my corporation. Can anyone help? I also heard about that you can get a business grant from the government and you don't have to pay it back is this possible?

it's highly unlikely you're going to get a grant to start or acquire nightclubs. Those grants are usually for people who start businesses that are a little more community-friendly. Most of the stuff you see on TV about all this "grant money" is crap anyway. Kid from my highschool now underwrties grants and gets paid about 400K/yr. There's a reason he does. Grants don't come easy when they are there.

I would suggest getting about 10-20% of the money in your own bank account before seeking investors. Do you have the money? Do you have business plan including statements from the clubs as to what they've already done business-wise?

Owning a bunch of nite clubs doesn't just take investors. It takes years and years of experience. You sound young, so there's a good chance you just enjoy frequenting clubs and have a bit of an entreprenurial spark. You should try and get a job in a nite club first and do your time to learn the ins and outs of the industry before you dig a deep financial hole.

Not to mention seed money for a "bunch of nightclubs" would run somewhere in the 5-6 million range depending on many variables. Thats a highly competitive business and as jimmeijo says, experience is absolutely necessary in that industry to aquire promoters, DJ's, etc.
