I need help
Hi guys,
I'm about to launch my new company. It's called Pamper My Paws and I'm selling 100% Organic Gourmet Dog Treats.
My original slogan was "If it's good enough for my dog, ...
It's good enough for me."
But now i'm starting to think,.. I want something that goes more with the name Pamper My Paws.
Anyone have ANY ideas!? I would appreciate your thoughts.
Thanks!!

I like the "what dogs dream of" one.
"For Dog lovers" although certain nefarious associations could be made.
"Unconditional love for pets"
"For pets of worth"
"for discerning owners"

Hello G_Ina I found your site on google and thought I would leave you a little feedback, first off the site and logo design are brilliant, great work on those. the only thing I saw wrong with the site was the photo of the only item on the site, the flash takes away from seeing the actual dog treats, you might want to think of re-taking the pictures, another idea might be to have one of the treats outside of the box to show customers how big each treat actually is, other then that great site though.

You would do well to write in a soft voice that speaks emotionally about the pet/owner relationships and passionately about the treats and why they are key to a dog's happiness.

Thanks for commenting on my website
Actually that one is just a placeholder. I am working on my real site right now. I know i need to take some better pictures... I have a photo shoot next week and hopefully I will get some good ones.
I haven't advertised that one! That would be embarrassing.. lol
I'm writing my press release right now, fun stuff..
I will post my press release next week when my stuff is finished you guys can check everything out. Maybe I'll find a partner or some business opportunity from someone out there.

Hi G_Ina, about that press release. I recently released one myself, by following some good education laid out out the following site: http://refer.ccbill.com/cgi-bin/clic...000&PA=1435442
I used their step by step process and was published on my first try, the silly thing was even picked up by google and yahoo news etc...

THe "Voice" pertains to the tone you take as you write; for example, when I write copy, I try to find a character that fits the type of message and its appeal to my audience; thus, when writing about a topic that concerns women in general, my first choice is taking the voice of Oprah Winfrey.
I look at how she speaks and the words she uses. I then replicate this into my copy writing.
I also look at TV ads that match my style. So, have a look at some adverts, or personalities that speak softly, as this creates a distinct environment of intimacy (when was the last time someone seduced you by shouting in an aggressive voice? Please, dont answer that one, but you get my gist).
Then, use emotive language to describe your target market's relationship with their pooches; language that uses words or phrases that are designed to elicit the emotions you want associated with your product, in this case it would be wrong to try to elicit the excitement better associated with Xtreme sports.
So, try to elicit emotions of protection and love. Your target market is largely those who love their pets as their children; so have a look at copy and adverts of successful products targeted to toddlers and borrow from them.
When it comes to describing the treats, use more powerful words and phrases that clearly convey passion; this is because passion is one of the most powerful emotions anyone can feel, and one that more than not, helps to override logic.
Thus, people buy emotionally and justify their purchases logically. Your job is to highten the right emotions in your copy to the point that it will drive the reader to do what you want them to; click on a link, go to the information page, or click on the purchase button.
Trust this helps

BTW, another emotion that would be suitable is fun. Thus, use copy that reminds people (an funny anecdote, for example) of just why they love their pets so much.
Have a look at bloggs for inspiration. Whatever you do, make sure your articles and press releases are well crafted; remember that once they are out there you cant get them off the sites, so you need to get it right first time.
