I need a credit card processor

I just launched a new domestic/international shipping company and I’ve had numerous people ask if they can pay via credit card over the web. I contemplated using PayPal but their fees are a bit high. They may turn out to be the best option, but I was wondering if anyone knew of a processor with a transaction fee of $.25 (or less) and a processing fee of under 2.8%. I work on pretty narrow margins so I can’t afford rates any higher.

You can check out my service on the front page of Welcome to Capital Auto Auction. Once I work out the bugs I’m going to expand my services to a few more auctions. If you are in the auto industry and need towing or if you are a transporter please also feel free to contact me.

iDuke- I've managed to get my current processor down to 2.15% +$.25 for online transactions.

But on a $1000 ticket with a margin of $75 thats still a $21.75 fee or about 30% of my income. I can't stretch my margins too much further.

google checkout has lower fees, and it's similar to paypal. You can also tr escrow.

I'd need to know soon what the rate would be in order to wait. I have orders pending and I'm getting frustrated coordinating payments with my auctions. Can you give me some type of commitment rate?

I checked their rates (2% + $.20) which will work for me. Do I need to sign up for Goggle Apps in order to have access to Google Checkout?
