Question I have idea's but no one to help me think outside the box.. What do I do?

I started my own brokering business when I was 20, buying clothes from wholesale's and trade-sites and re-selling them or brokering huge amounts on eBay. That lasted for a good year, I was making good money but the problem was I needed more money to keep up with the clothing business and buy larger stocks of clothing and styles changed almost too often for me to be able to catch up. The internet bidding business starting coming across some tough competition but I hung in there as long as I could.

I was always brought up to believe that things might be given to me but never knew how to go get it myself. After isolating myself for a while and living in the worst condition that I can live in did I realize if I want anything in life it meant pursuing it. Thanks to the help of Tony Robbins at age 21 I worked so much on my resume and pushing myself for the best jobs, I had jobs in mortgage industry and insurance business. Needless to say it was jobs someone my age couldn't apply for but, I didn't take no for an answer.

I now, at age 22... work for a biotech company. I've been working here for over 2 years now but I'm always looking further to push myself and see what else I can handle in life. I can't ever let myself get comfortable.

The problem is that I'm solo, I have great idea's but I can't do them alone. Often times I need someone else to be business minded with me and help me succeed but often times I hear people who say they want to but do nothing, they just want the money. I like my job but I want to own my own business, period. Although I'm young, I've done it before and I want that feeling back.

What do you do when you don't have a partner and you're desperately looking to get into business and form one eventually. I feel like doing all this by myself doesn't get me the driven results I want.

Do I need a business partner to be able to succeed? Sometimes being solo can be the opposite of motivating, I wish I had someone to share my passion with.

Being a business owner is the best thing ever. You are in full control, can take vacations when you want, work when you want, and make 10X more money then a employee.

On average an employee makes $8 at a normal job like a grocery store, that's about $12,300 a year. If you own the grocery store you are making around $1,000 a week which is about $52,000 a year. Big difference.

Watcher, I feel your frustration and passion. It sounds like I wrote that post myself. At least you're in the right place because most of us here share that passion to be in business for ourselves (but not necessarily by ourselves).

I have owned several different types of businesses. I am getting ready to launch a new website biz, Preneuraholics.com, in a few weeks. When I first conceived of this idea more than a year ago (a new funding option for entepreneurs) the concept was so complicated and massive that I began to look for a partner. I was terrified of going it alone even though I've always been a solopreneur. This particular business idea required technical expertise beyond what I was capable of. When my would-be partner backed out I dropped the whole thing.

However the time for this idea was perfect. The down economy was causing more and more people to need a new funding option and I was sitting on it.

I read several examples of hugely successful business owners and they all said the same thing...just do it. Don't wait for everything to be perfectly in place because that will never happen.

I went back to my idea and completely revised the concept until it was more user friendly for the user and for me. I had to make some major changes so I could bring it to market, so to speak.

So, Watcher, maybe you can do this with your ideas. If they are too big to handle by yourself, scale it down until it works for you. Grow into it. But do it. Go for it!

First think of what are those things you need to prioritize and what do you really want. Then, make a concrete plan of those things you wanted and its options for you to be able to picture out what will happen if you are going to pursue this kind of opportunity you have in mind.
