Ok So Funny Story.

A couple days ago I was talking with my friend who has a friend who is a medical student...and I forgot how the conversation came up but my friend told me that her friend didn't know what a 401K Plan was...

(drumroll please).....
Her friend thought that at retirement that the 401K plan pays you $401,000 to live off of....when you decide to retire

Can you believe that crap!
What a great education system we have...wouldn't you say! Go to school, get good grades, find a safe secure job with benefits, reporting to "THE MAN", and living off of a "Pension Plan"...=PIPEDREAM

LOL...I was on the floor laughing...having trouble standing up...

Wow I really did laugh out loud when i read this!
I used to work with 401k's in my day so this is hilarious.

Because people are just the creative to give you not just 400,000 but 401,000!

Man, if that were true, I would WILLINGLY keep a full time job while I started my business. [Well, I am, but I don't want to.] $401k just for retiring?

lol, but on another note if you want a good stable job with a very nice pension join the fire or police department, in NY after 20 years you can retire and you get 1/2 of what your abbual pay is for life so if you were making 80k when you retire you get 40k$ for life.
