I have $100,000 but not sure what to do with it.

I recently came into some money, about 100k, and not quite sure what to do with it. Any ideas?

Geez, if i had that much cash, I'd invest in some real estate or watch Mad Money to get some stock tips.

I've thought about both. It doesn't seem like the best time to get into real estate. Stocks, too risky. Plus, I'm looking for something that could generate some income, a business perhaps? But what kind of business? These are the questions that keep me up at night. lol

if you're thinking about a franchise, look into Quiznos. One recently opened up near me and i was talking to the owner the other day and he said it was one of the best moves he has made in his life. The store is ALWAYS packed with people and he has a VERY high customer return ratio.

Not Quiznos! The food is good but the franchisor is worthless after they initially take your money. I was talking to a franchisee of one near me and a couple of month's later it's closed. He said their royalty fees are very very high.

What ever you do with the money, diversify, make multiple streams of income/ investments- instead of one lump sum into one thing.

If you're looking for a business to invest it, invest in you're own! thats my advise, take something you absolutley love, do some research and if its worth it get into business.

Or you could find someone who's business you would like to invest in whether its as a silent partner or you actually get involved.

    Where about are you from?
Do today what others wont so later you can afford to do what others cant!

Learn to invest. Bonds, options and stock.
Spend your life buying assets instead of liability

Let money be you employee and make you more money

Anyway, first buy Robert Kiyosaki's books, eg Rich Dad, Poor Dad. They are really good! Because, if you dun learn hw to let money work for you, its just a matter of time whereby you are back to square one and lose all your money.
