I got a source, is it legal?

I have a source in china that will sell me video game systems. I am 99% sure that these systems are not counterfeit. I mean come on, who can counterfeit a nintendo wii or ps3? The company also sells counterfeit clothes like many chinese companies do. Is there anything illegal about importing legit video game systems from this company? Do you need a license from nintendo/whoever to sell a product?

If they sell fake clothes...they probably sell fake consoles.

Illegal about importing? Not sure, but I wouldnt go with this deal. I'd ask someone who already has a source for these to give you their info.

Just be sure you use Paypal/CC...avoid western union.

If it sounds too good to be true, than it probably is

I would try to search the source on some search engines to see if other people have had a bad experience with them. Usually these type of "suppliers" are not real and you will never see the product.

As of method of payment stay away from western union, try to use paypal if possible.

    Two questions:

    1. Why buy products from a company that you know engages in illegal activities in other areas?
    2. Why buy from China?

Buying from China isn't the issue. The issue is definately buying from a company that already is engaging in illegal activity.

    That's just asking for trouble!!

I'm merely pointing out that the OP has no reason for buying from China, other than everyone else is doing it. Legitimate electronics (especially gaming consoles) do not come from China. Manufacturers do not wholesale them from there.

They are however manufactored there. Assuming they are not countefeit, you are telling me that it still wouldnt be legal to buy them?

Here's some sage advice I always give my clients:

"If you can't readily verify that something or someone is legit, it's best to err on the side of caution and avoid doing business with them."

Remember you are dealing with different regulations regarding trade and quality control regulations in china. The red lights should go off when you see a swite with fake clothing. I bet they sell fake nike shoes, fake lacoste, face timberlands, fake polo shirts, and then sya they also have PS3 and Wii. Many people have complained over China's low quality knock off clothing. There are thousands of these sketchy sites around, I wouldn't deal with any form of payment besides paypal, but I almost guarantee its another fake site. Why not post a link. There are thousands of these site out there.
