    I did it!

Back in September I introduced myself and said I wrote a children's book, wanted it to be published but found the process to be "not in my control". Well, since I have a tech background, I thought I would create an interactive children's book since my biggest goal is to produce a cartoon. Well, I did it! Actually I should say "we" did it because I got my entire family involved from programming to animation. We have an app in the app store called Good Idea starring Dylan Monkey and Squishy Face. (And it's gotten five start reviews.) I actually started the whole process last July so it's been nine months. I feel like I gave birth to a child.

Now comes the hard part - promoting it. We've hired a publicist but if you have any other ideas, let me know.

I recall reading your post back in the summer time actually. I am very very pleased to hear this. I hope things continue to go well for you. Make sure you get a solid marketing firm that understands the app world, and has a good grasp on social media. If they think everything you suggest is a good idea they are most likely just trying to sell you crap! If they are critical of things you suggest then they are sincerely looking for results!

Thanks. The App Store is extremely competitive but we've built a high-quality product and am up for the challenge. I actually co-own another successful online company (which provides the funds for this adventure) so I understand the challenges. I'm just very excited.

Woo Hoo! Kudos to you for the hard work and effort. Put together a well organized launch and generate lots of buzz ahead of time. If you can get social proof, such as testimonials, of your product, you will have much success!
