I am scared to post my idea
I have many business ideas that I would really like to post and get input back and maybe some help on how to go about it.
I am new to this site and I don't know how safe is it that someone will not take my idea, and run with it?

well, you never know?
If you think your idea is prone to be taken from you, you might want to read some of the posts or do a search on your topic and see if someone has already thought of it...
I heard somwhere back in the day that as soon as you get an idea, 10 people get the same idea... It really is pretty difficult to come up wwith genuine originality...
good luck

Ahern thanks, I have done searches and I haven't seen any one post any thing to what I want to do.
I am really excited about it though and about ready to jump out of my seat at the possibilities.

I think that this was pretty well said. You have a couple of options:
- Post your ideas, get the feedback you need from the general public and if you need help maybe find a partner that you need
- Don't post, search for the answers you need and keep your idea to your self until you launch it and then pursue some feedback
- Put a post with a very general concept of your idea, ask for people who have experience in the area to PM or email you and work exclusively with them to get advice and feedback.
Just some ideas. It all depends on your comfort level.

One other consideration, if there are really so few barriers to entry that you're afraid to post it here, might this not really be that great an opportunity?
Not trying to shatter your dreams, as I have no idea what they are, but trying to make you think and consider some things.

If you would like support...like we all do...why don't you just be general? If you think you can come up with a vague or substituted example, there is always a way, believe me. I have been trying to capitalize on great ideas for over 20yrs.
I'm not saying to blurt out your idea to anyone, please don't, my current venture I myself kept top secret for 10 yrs., but I want you to know, I had two major ideas taken from me by Fortune 100 companies that I am absolutely sure you know of. I dealt with them and all they did was throw lawyers in my face.
You may think it's disheartening for me and another sad case of the little guy getting stripped of his work, but the truth is, I realized I could come up with a better idea than all their executives combined. They took my ideas. WOW, I knew I had the makings to come up with big ideas after that!!!!
I am not telling you to let your concept fly, wing it, but carefully disguise it and get some advice afterwards. So many great ideas are still just left in a pile of scrap paper because of fear, and the creator never to go anywhere.
If you need the help...seek it...carefully. Here, I'll ask you...I have a musculoskeletal assisting device for lifting and pulling. Where do I find financing, a manufacturer, who can I sell it to, what are my markets. Does anyone know who would be interested in this? (And if it's a service idea)...this device will increase the service of some trades and make the customer more satisfied because of on time service.
Can you figure what it is? Wasn't I vague enough? Now see what it is: Handi Straps Lifting System Home
Good luck to you.

Hey, Ron. What were those two major ideas that were stolen from you by Fortune 100 companies? I'm sure they're not top secret anymore. Also, for the sake of helping others, how did they take them from you?

You know I use to think the same way until I learned that we are all connected together in this big wonderful universe and we need to work with each other to make things happen! Take this from a guy who has been doing it for over 30 years!
