I am a bit lost! I need input

Hey guys, I am starting my niche auction site and its almost developed. It should be ready in about 2 weeks but now I am lost about hosting. I already have about 200 businesses around my town ready to register and start posting. I want to make sure I have a reliable host. I need it to load fast and extremely low percentage of downtime.

who should I go with and plan should I get? I dont mind spending about 50 bucks or so a month on hosting.
    Please help me out

    Thanks

for $50/month, I doubt you can get dedicated server, you can get VPS, but I don't think it will meet your needs. Godaddy should have better deal for dedicated servers. I like them because of their good customer service response. You also find some coupons if u google around.

What about a virtual dedicated server?
    The Economy plan includes:

    • 10 GB disk space
    • 500 GB bandwidth
    • 256 MB RAM Guaranteed /
    (1 GB RAM Bursted)
    • Linux: CentOS or Red Hat F7
    • Simple Control Panel

    Is this sufficent?

I was using Godaddy Servers. Honestly I won't recommend it. The support is good but the servers aren't.

I will said look atsurfspeedy. c o m and others.

By experience, I can tell you you won't end up having that much ram from Godaddy. The security and items they set up eats a lot of memory and process. You will encounter problems once in a while with PayPal sockets, and many other things like to upgrade you need move the whole data, or pay extra.

Get dedicates IP, get cpanel. I have 3 VPS and I started with 1 in Godaddy. The way I was doing there I will never archived where I am now.

    Godaddy Servers a No No.

You wanted to spend up to 50 bucks. I got the 59.99 x 3 and honestly I dont encouter any problems. I run a live shoutcast radio, a classified system, a stats server and many other things. Never encounter a problem. Very helpful the only thing is you can received support in less than our up to 6 hours.

But I can said much since I only used support a few times only and it was regarding IP allocations, server upgrades and stuff like that nothing related to server functions or capacity.

59.99 x 3? what does that mean? 180? I Just need a server that I can run just my auction site on and I just need a reliable host with good bandwidth thats sufficient. It might grow bigger in a few months and I dont want to be stuck and let the users have bad expierence. If I have to pay more then I will pay more but just need to know whats sufficient enought for a growing auction site.
