How to sell to a grocery store?

I have realized that in the town where I live there are many grocery stores selling organic, bio, herbal, natural products. I have a good contact with some herbal soap and other products manufacturers. I would like to know how I can sell these products to the grocery stores. In other words, where do grocery stores usually get their products from? As a seller do I approach directly the store? What if the store is a chain and I would like to propose my product to all of the branches?

    Thanks.

WOW! Sounds like an amazing question. I have read several stories on entrepreneurs who were in this situation. Well you have to pitch to the coporate headquarters or meet someone in person who is in charge of retail. Depending on the size of the company, the structure etc. you might have to even get to know someone who already has connections there. I have also read that people had their contacts make a pitch if they felt that the product was the right one.

Wish you the best! Good luck!

Most grocery store chains have a centralized office who takes care of the products the stores will sell. You need to contact this office directly. For smaller grocery stores which are not part of a big chain and are usually standalone, I would simply pick up the phone and ask for the purchasing manager.
