    Question How to sell stuff?

    Hi there,

    I started a new project - it's kind of a VPA service.
We provide special data entry services for internet agencies.
I get in touch with daily 20 CEOs of those companies (in a social business network). Around 2 - 4 reply daily, more than 90% tell me, they want to have our price list and like our idea very much.
I send out all price lists via email - that's it.

Those agencies can only order, when they have a special project theirself. So I don't expect to get orders immediately.

I sent out 30 emails now with our price list.

    How do I continue now?
What do I do with those people who didn't answer in this social network?
When and how should I contact the CEOs with the price list again?
    Any further idea here?

    Thank you in advance
    Bye, Chris

You should spend time figuring out you high potential list and work to convert them into paying clients. Maybe you could offer a free trial so they can experience what you are trying to do for them.

Build relationships with your best prospects and spend less time trying to generate leads you are not able to convert.

How I work usually, is that first I do due-diligence about the contact person and the business needs; then I wrote an offer he/she suppose not to reject... after a week-two, I will send another email stating that "obviously you have been busy but maybe you could find a little bit time to consider our offer, blablala"... if I do not get any answers to that, it has been wasted lead so time to go on...
never try to lower your price, if the person comes once back... charge then double. I know it's flustrating when only some 2% of leads is becoming deals but that's the life.

I dont think it's smart to charge someone double if they want to come back later. That's bad business. Just because someone does not respond to you does not necessarily mean that it has been a waste. Instead of being frustrated, try to learn from that experience and figure out what you can say to make someone eager to respond to you.

Objections to your product will be one of the following: price, trust, quality, or timing. Price, very rarely, is the overriding issue in a sale. Make sure all of your interactions with your clients are in some way showing them value for the price, that they can trust you, vouching for the quality of the product, and discussing whether or not this is the best timing for them

    Good Luck!
