How to Sell an Internet App w/ SaaS model

Some of you may know this new internet buzzword, SaaS. Software as a Service.

Many months ago I had begun working on a product idea for sales executives. I developed the internet application keeping the SaaS model in mind. In the middle of development, through a friend with connections, a fortune 500 company became very interested in the idea. They needed a highly customized version of the application to suit their needs. And they had the money to pay for the customization.

I have completed the customized areas for that fortune 500 company, the application has launched, and they are very pleased with the results. The application has increased efficiency for their sales teams.

So now my base application framework without the customized features is ready for the rest of the world. The only piece needed to complete the SaaS model and let it be ready for prime-time is the recurring billing processes for monthly billing.

    Here is my conundrum:
Recently I launched another SaaS model product as well and I have a lot of passion for it.

This sales SaaS product mentioned above is not getting as much attention as it needs to successfully take it to the next level. Plus I have more passion for my other product that I have successfully launched already.

Can anyone recommend some possible ways for me to sell this idea?

    - It is practically built already. So an interested party would have a huge head-start.

    - It is proven that there is a market for this product.

    You may be asking yourself:
    - Why do I want to sell this idea if its already built and proven there is a market?
That is because I am concentrating on my other product that I have more passion for. But I see that there is potential with this product for the market, and potential for me to make some revenue from it either in an all-out-sale, or initial sale with % of future profits.

Also, I am the idea-to-reality guy, but my forte is not PR/Marketing. I do not have the passion for the product to take on the PR/Marketing costs.

    - How come I have not sold the idea already?
I am a one-man show without many connections. I need a broker of some sort who can connect me to the right people that might be interested in this type of transaction.

I would appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction, or just let me know some possible next steps.

Please feel free to post any questions.

Thank you for your time. I know this was a long email.

    -Chris

Please send an email to movement@hpwventures.com with the following information:

Name of company you implemented this for along with a business contact.
    Sale price range.
    Test site or product.
Impossibilities are possible. Come to a brick wall and transcend the process of going around, over or through. Just be on the other side.
