its an okay story, I didn't feel there was any meat in it though. Several things were left out such as the pros and cons, the costs, and other things that are needed.

I know its wasn't intended as a guide to go public, but it seemed more like a goal setting article than a going public article.

The story is great, it reveals the inside of what most don't tell. All other things not mentioned which you are asking, they assume that you, if you plan on going public, those are the due diligences you should already know and are doing.
