I don't know where you live, but I've always used the local Chamber of Commerce with excellent results.
Their membership directory is an absolute goldmine!
Going through a local mailing list company is another option.

You can also use the Internet to check their Websites, or Yellow Page listings.

If you live in the uk you can use Thomson Local. If not you can use the Yellow Pages.
