How to get aspects of a product engineered?

I have a pretty good idea for a product but don't have the skills to electrically engineer or write software for it. Where can I receive consultation these aspects but not make the public aware that the product is in development?

Hi...

An idea for a product might not be at the state to go to prototype stage, which would involve the engineering and software plus other steps.

Before you think of engineering, I would ask you if you have researched your product idea from the perspective of competitive like products.

Then, there is the "market" for your kind of product.

Also a critical aspect of "a product" is marketing / distribution, manufacture, warehousing / procurement OEM parts, etc.

Producing a prodcut is a highly complex undertaking and the idea stage is the simplest.

There are services like guru.com where you can hire an expert to get advice from or who on something for you.

My background is in electrical engineering if you have any specific questions you need help with.

Thanks guys, but I don't think the market is ready for what I wanted to have produced but I'm sure there'll be other things that I'll need said services for.
