How to advertise to the wealthy?

Somebody suggested in my thread "Anybody have this problem?" that I should mail letters to the home addresses of wealthy people offering a free trial service. The problem is, wealthy people tend to not want their names and home addresses known, for obvious reasons. How do I find out who these people are and how to get in contact with them? I was thinking of advertising to lawyers and stockbrokers to begin with, but I have no idea how to start. Any ideas?

Dun & Bradtreet. If you're offering a professional service send the letter to their office.

That's for a huge corporation, not a one guy shop! You must be kidding! Any other ideas?

Drive a new Ferrari to Cars & Coffee in your local area. You can rent them for $1400/weekend. Thats a $6000/month marketing budget. Thats pretty cheap if thats all the marketing you do.

Dude, are you really that thick?

1.) Get your leads from D&B
2.) Send mail to businesses, not homes.

Extra Info: I never read anything sent to my home. I always read letters addressed to me at the office.

I almost always hang up on telemarketers (I get 5-10 calls a day), but always hang up on people asking to speak to the owner. If the telemarketer asks for me by name they get further.

Keep this in mind if you send a mailing and follow up with a telemarketing call. This is much more effective than just sending mail or just telemarketing.
