Question How should I approach a larger company

Alright this is where I'm going with this. I am planning on pitching a product to a much larger company than mine.
What is the best way to approach them and come at things.

Dress the part, wear a tie, shine your shoes
Have all your information with you. Be confident.

But theres more, and I was wondering if anyone here has done this sucessfully or any tips and can just help me prep for this. Thanks.

Well if you go in there looking the part, full of confidence and know what your actually going to pitch then you shouln't have a problem. Also make sure that you have a working model if the product is say electrical for example i remember watching something on the new series of dragons den on thursday where the product didnt work but he sitll go the investment as its something that could make millions and the way it was made was patented.

So basically, if you have an excellent pitch, know exactly what your talking about, have realistic projections(very improtant), a working product and you look the part then you stand a great chance and like Nigami Enterprise mentioned your signature also sums up some of it.

Anyways good luck with your pitch

    You have believable numbers

Where it will help their consumers
Where it will help their future
How you will succees and complete

    Then you will be set.

Asides from looking sharp and knowing your product/service being prepared and having your information handy:

2 things, elevator pitch how will you explain your company in under a minute as clearly as possible because you will be repeating yourself often as your meeting these people one on one.

2nd thing is Confidence, Attitude moves merchandise and its funny but the mathmatical value for the work attitude is 100 kinda interesting.
Do today what others wont so later you can afford to do what others cant!

I'm pitching my first niche product I have. Its my Reinforced skatelaces.
There shoelaces that are up to 3 times stronger than the standard industry laces and they help reduce fraying.

See we took a survey and found out that shoelaces are the #1 thing that wears out and breaks when you skate. Some people can break there laces as soon as one day and then some last them a month. When they do break, they look crappy because they frayout and then the skater usualy buys a new pair of shoes or usual ties the laces in a knot. You can see some skater with over 6 knots in their laces.

Currently most skate shoe companies include 2 pairs of regualr laces with their shoes. If they use mine, not only do they have a technology factor which they can sell to the public, but they only need to include one pair with the shoes. To last the time and plus of 2 regular laces.

If you go to my website and view the workshop page you can see a comparison photo of them.
