How do you track your onilne stats?

    Google analytics for example?

Also, why do you use them, and what dont you like about them?

I've used Google Analytics, Statcounter, Clicky, and others. My favorite so far is Clicky. It's definitely worth a look.

Analytics is pretty good - especially to be free - but I don't like sharing that kind of information on a site with Google if I'm trying to rank it.

    Statcounter...

Also consider something like hittail for tracking your long tail keywords.

I use Google Analytics, it has pretty detailed reports.

CrazyEgg.com is definitely worth looking into, especially if you will be making revenue through ads.

I love google analytics just for the simple fact that i can tell where all my visitors are coming from and what is getting me visitors, etc. lets me embrace what my strongest points are

Huh? I'm not sure what google analytics you are using, but it updates much more than every 24 hours. You just have to click on today's date in the calendar, its not selected by default. It seems to be about one to two hours behind.

Google Analytics and Statcounter. I really like the new feature on statcounter where you can check your exit links, it is nice for affiliate sites because you have something to gauge how accurate your clickthrough rates are with what the merchant is telling you.

I use Extreme Tracker...you can see it at the bottom of my home page...there is a little square with a sort of moon in it. It's free and it gives me extensive information on whoever visits my site like if it's a company I get the name (big company) time of visit, city, state, keywords used, link referred from, country, amount of hits and keeps this all on file for constant access.

This is important because after a publication or whatever writes about my product I will know if that publication gets me traffic...or if I place an ad, I will know if it works by analyzing the traffic.

For instance, anyone that visits my site from the link I post here it will say Young Entrepreneur.com

All websites just NEED a tracker or else you will just guess what campaigns work or don't.

google analytics has been enough. seems that previous leaders has become too expensive with their several thousands dollars license fees.
