Hello,
My name is Juan. I have a technology company here, in Spain. Here, collaboration between companies (from the same sector or different sector) is a hype. Everybody talk about collaboration but for myself it is very difficult to collaborate. I think it is possible to collaborate, in fact, I collaborate with some companies, but my problem is the type of collaboration.
I have identified these types of collaboration:
Scenario 1: Company1 (selling company) - Company2 (prescriptor)
Company2 can prescribe products and services from Company1 because they sell different products. In compensation Company2 gets a "commercial margin" for each client directed to Company1 or Company1 also directs clients do Company2.
Scenario 2: Company1 has a service that Company2 needs and Company2 has a service that Company1 needs.
But, how the companies can assure that they don't give more than they recieve from the other part? Is it not in this scenario to one company try to cheat the other company?
Scenario 3: Company1 (bigger) - Company2 (little) Same sector.
Both companies would like to develop a technology but they need to collaborate. How? Who is going to take de rights to use the final product? How they can establish rules for the collaboration?
These are some scenarios that worry me when talking about collaboration. I would like to hear success collaboration between companies. How did you did it?
