do you have a debit or credit card? Can you afford $5 to $10 a month for a website?
I just put together this website the other day, its not that advanced and you probably wouldn't make a lot of money, but you might make some if you do a good job. I made step by step instructions on how to make a free games website with advertising on it. Here are the instructions.

That seems quite cool. Although it would be real small its a good thing for me to start learning more about internet business and building my own website.
Could I make £50 a week doing that? Just some pocket money so i dont have to keep asking my mum and dad for things.
Thats the only reason i want to do this lol. Plus I enjoy doing things like this.

yes be prepared to put in alot of late nights. After setting up your website you have to get traffic. This can serve to be difficult because everyone out there is trying to promote there website (even me). You are gonna need to be willing to put about 20 hours a week just to get it started. Then you probibly want to look into something like google ad sense. They havent been paying as much per click because more and more people are signing up for it. But there are other programs that are similer to it.
Do you have a computer skill or service you could provide? Web site design, advice, etc.?

the thing about making money online is that there is a learning curve. You can't instantly expect to start making decent money. No matter what type of thing you choose to do online, it is all about how much traffic you are able to get to your site. Anything will make you money, its just about how well you are able to market it.
The key is to just do something. Open the door up and do something. You will change your mind over time, but its all a learning process. Just get started on it.

oh and by the way, I have only had that games site up for two weeks and its already made about $70. Its just something I'm doing for some additional advertising revenue for my company. It was easy to set up and doesn't require any ongoing maintence. So it will hopefully continue providing a little residual revenue (thats the idea at least). Its more of an experiment than anything else.

would i be able to get like funny pictures and funny videos on my site for free as well do you think?
I havent singed up with homestead yet, but would i have to have .homestead.com on the end of my domain name?
So can you explain how i make the money. Is it basically i have a small website, like a free games online one for example, and i have links to other sites on my site. And when people click on those other links I get money? Obviously id have to get LOADS of poeple to click on those links to make any sort of money but thats how i get the money, yeh?

Earlier you had said something about starting a golf tutorial website, and I think that is a good idea, but I have some ideas for it. I typed this out earlier, and when I tried to post it wouldnt, so here it is.
I think that it is a good idea but I dont think you can base all of your advice off of a book. What would stop people from going out and buying this book and improving on their own? I believe this would be a hell of alot cheaper than paying a monthly subscription. If you base your whole program off of the book you could also run into problems with copyright infringment. The program to run stats would be difficult because unless you know each course they play on, and how their shots were made, you cannot suggest where to improve their game. If they said errors they commited, and strokes on certain areas then you could assist them, but at that point they could figure out their own problem area. I take golf lessons and pay around $50/hr, which is expensive but I find that it helps alot. One of the main things that helps during my lesson is watching my instructor properly position himself, and go threw the motion slowly focusing on different things that all together make you swing well. Along with this, once I try to swing my instructor watches me and gives me pointers on my faults. If I commit an error too many times and cannot see what I am doing he video tapes me swinging, then plugs the camera into a screen and plays it in slow motion. As I go through my swing he circles and notes my faults on the screen (uses SmartBoard type software). If you could provide something like this, then I think you could be successful. You would need to hire a golf pro, but if you did this you could really make this business work. If you had a pro you could pay to to initally make your training type videos that you could fine under each of the problems, and this could be the basic package. Then for an additional fee you could have packages of swing evaluation, in which your pro would look at x minutes of video for x price, and then suggest tips. By it being all video you could access clients most anywhere, and you would allow your pro flexibility because he can work from wherever he is, and at what time he wants. There would be much more you would need to work out, but from a fellow golfer I think this model would be more desired, and you could charge more than a read along tutorial.
