How Concerned Should I be About Getting Trademark

Hello. I have created a software package that I am wanting to "go live" with in the very near future. I wanted to see how concerned I should be about protecting the name of the business and my logo at this point? I have a marketing plan put together that involves submitting my information to many people. The name is very catchy and I am nervous about someone maybe trying to steal the logo and/or name of the business. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Are you a registered business?

If so, nobody in your state can register a business that is similar or may be confused with your name.

I've never had to trademark anything, but it would be something to look into since you say you have a nice logo.

Thank u for your quick response. This is an online solution and that is where I am concerned. Being that most of my business will be through my website, I'm not worried about people in the state as much. I have looked into LLC.
