It's all about marketing and showcasing your pieces.

- Sell your works through online communities such as Etsy. I find that channel works a lot better than ebay.

- Market to niche gift stores and have your pieces displayed on consignment.

- Have a stand at markets. It's usually quite cheap to lease a table for a day at thos Sunday markets.

- Email your friends and tell them to email others.

- Be active in forums and blogs relating to jewellery.

- Set up a MiaJ facebook or myspace account. Join groups on Facebook relating to jewellery or Etsy and then start adding members from those groups.

Hope that helps, and good luck!

1. E-mail friends and family and ask them if they'd be kind enough to share a few moments of their time to tell their friends about what you're doing.

2. When at parties or get-togethers, discuss your business and what you do. Word of mouth is viral.

3. Get free business cards. Business cards can be bought for free or very little money. Get your name, business information, and contact information displayed on the cards.

4. Get your number in the phone book. Yeah, it might cost you a bit, but you know what? It takes money to make money.

give some of your work away to friends and family in exchange for them telling people about your new company. You can even check with your local consignment shops and flea markets about selling your creations there.
