Wink How am i doing business.

I start the thread not for advertising just to describe my point of view of doing business, its not an amazing story but i hope i could share the expriences with some one.

Well i'm old enough to start my own business for life.I have programming skills so that i chose to build a team doing outsourcing web site projects.I have read some where say "the world is now flat" and and i hope i could find my clients over sea.By severalways i have some first clients who want me to do some small projects ,i'm really happy to get the projects.I used to think i and my team will try our best to do the projects improving skills and expriences during the process and i guess we have done not bad.But things often go there own way some time we always face many problems such as requirements not clear, time budget is short, the price is so cheap etc,the team was not well organized...so the first thing i have learned is being patience.

My target is the sites will work well for the clients that what i follow when doing business.I tried to hear the bad news from the client not good news and thank god we coulld learn much from the bad news than good news.

My business is really simple and every one could do it as well,i could not earn much from my business but i'm happy when ever a new site of us realeased. The second thing i can learn that what ever business are you doing you should take care about how your product or service will work for the clients, that's the reason they pay for you and the main reason they come back.Besure to complete the current projects then start to work on the new project,if there are still some issues, try to study it and solve the problems
so that the client will happy,if they happy they could bring us money by many ways.

(To be continue if everybody interested in..)

The business is going slowly what will you do?

I see that some time i have'nt got any new projects, little money in bank account so that i was upset and stress. What i need to do?Others business who provide the same service like me are doing well why not me?Why the clients doesn't come back? Why the coders in my team take to long time to finish a task, why did they work not as a team just individual,...

I have studied alot finally i learn that the clients now a day have many options even you provide good service but you always need to improve it or you'll lost. The mostly clients need coding service for one or two times a year so that you need to think about how to get the only two projects of them in a year, the first project you learn about the client and then the second will bring you some profits.

Business is not earn a huge amount in sevreal times,we earn a bit from each project and what will learn from clients that the profit in the future.

Mythical Man Hour is a classical read on development. If your team is not gelling then work on the project management portion and figure out how to optimize your talent.

Good luck herding those cats! Check out Strengths Finder from Gallup to see how you can optimize the personalities on your team.

You need to understand the people you are working with to get th e best from them. You need to know the people you serve to give th em the best and you have to know your own limitations and strengths to be your best. Make a review of all these and see where it will land you. Do what Brendan says, add to these and be your best as a team.
Best of All.
