Lightbulb How about a coupon business?

http://www.entrepreneur.com/article/...326916,00.html

What do you guys think about it?

I know this is very un-original and lame, but, nonetheless, I think some good money can be made from it.

Do you think that starting a booklet solely for one business district is a good idea?

Please share your ideas. Maybe you have some creative twist that we can all learn from.

Why would you want to start something that is unoriginal and lame? There are plenty of businesses to start that can make more money.

Because I can't think of anything else! lol

I am just researching options I have for real world business. I can run my online business without ever having to leave my house and want to start something that is more interesting than sitting in front of the computer. Furthemore, I need a good business idea for my senior graduation project in high-school.

I am actually working on a few websites for someone who has a coupon book and directly targets residents and students for each of his different products.

He's been doing it for like 13 years and has a very good product, as well as very good 'protection' to keep his market share. He isn't rich, but he makes a very comfortable living.

One of the hottest segments of affiliate marketing is coupon marketers. Unfortunately, some of the big players (ie, Google & Yahoo) have started to enter the space.

Instead of making a distributed coupon flyer or something, I would simply build a website that had printable or online coupon codes, and then spend my marketing efforts generating traffic to that website.

Cheers,
