Hookah lounge>>Helped needed please

Hello guys,
My name is younas and i am new at this forum, so far i sound pretty interesting stuff here. Alrigth guys i am planning to open a hookah Lounge in Long Island, NY. And i have some questions which i figure this is a good place to ask.

1. Law about smoke in a place where food is serve i thought that was banned in 2003, but i see hookah bar serving food?

2. How hard was it to get liqour license for that place?

3. What kind of licenses i would have to acquire?(Smoking, liquor(if i wanted/can), food, etc)

Hey Younas,

I have some experience in this because I helped establish a Hookah lounge here in town. I have to tell you that the laws vary greatly in each state and the only way you are going to find the answers to your questions is by doing research in your state's website. Call people that are already established and ask them to partner with you, or simply call your local Chamber of Commerce for people who might have done something similar to your specific area.
