Home Business

Many people start with their home based business just because they want to get away from their daily monotonous jobs. They prefer working according to their schedule. Most of them convert their hobby into a home based business idea; which is the best way of combining enjoyment with business. If you look around, you will find people taking up home based business to spend time with their family.

The limitations in income that a regular job offers is one of the biggest reasons people opt for a home based business. A business opportunity that might be good for one may not be the right one for others. So, choose a home based business which will offer you more than your regular job.

The number of home-based business opportunities is increasing rapidly with the global internet facility. Many websites offer home business opportunities or can direct you to agencies that have home business opportunities available. The fact is that internet is not dodgy as you think. Having financial freedom is just not a dream. You can achieve it if you research and choose the right business opportunity.

yeah, true. Only you cant overlook the amount of work that should be put into a business. Business is NOT about having financial freedom, business is about hard work. Anybody who thinks being an entrepreneur is an easy way of getting a ferrari needs to wake up. Also, the dotcom boom is over. So dont assume the internet is an easy way of making hundreds of millions. The economy is structured on thousands of businesses that never make any money. So dont think that setting up an online business will make you a millionaire immidiately.

For me I love everything about business, I love the fact that you can create your own system that generates an infinite amount of income. I just haven't figured out how to do that yet lol. I think this all stemmed from my younger days (even though I'm only 21) I used to play Roller Coaster Tycoon all day long and loved every aspect of it! I would build a coaster that would cost a lot of capital usually involving taking a loan from the bank but after a while the profits from the coaster would finally pay off the loan and bring money into my pocket.

Honestly I wish I could get involved in the amusement park industry somehow but at the moment I have no idea how to do so. I'm thinking I can start out with some sort of turn-key business.

Great Thread. Home businesses especially in the beginning, you have to work really hard, probably harder than you would at a job. But in the end the pay off is a lot bigger.

Let me explain "work really hard"...The work is easy, but it can take a lot of time especially on the internet.

yeah, i completely agree with ibrindley. working from home, is the hardest and most amount of work you can do. But if you have an effieient system/process. And if you have planned successfuly, then it WILL work. But it wont come easy.

Personally, I would much rather work hard on my own business than for any company as an employee. Do you have to work hard? Yes, but not always. I've found that being self-employed have made me become a better person through all the experiences and personal growth that you have to go through.

The only reason I'm an entrepreneur is for time and financial freedom. I'm doing this to make money. I'm not going to lie...if the checks went away...no matter how passionate I am about what I'm doing...I wouldn't do it. Don't get me wrong, I love to help people solve their problems and I do bring value to the marketplace, but my opinion is I just don't believe a lot of people when they say they don't do it for the money. I know some are going to get mad reading my post but it's okay.

Home businesses make a lot of sense to me and I've earned a great deal of money building them. In fact, my home business is Network Marketing or MLM...it's a pyramid! That's right...I said it...I make money in a pyramid...and so does everyone else whether they believe it or not.

it's got nothing to do with the opportunity... if you don't know how to market and teach others to do the same... then you are not a leader or an expert and just another peddler... if you know how to market then you can join any opportunity and make it happen... mlm or not... marketing is the key (and i don't mean buying ads that direct to your 'duplicated' website
