Hire someone to write for my blog.

I was wondering if it's common to give out equity to journalists on blogs. I own a blog I don't have much time for but it still makes me money, the thing is I want more. I was wondering if company's out there will write for my blog for a percentage of the company?

There is a site called myblogguest.com where you can come across many aspiring bloggers who would love to write for your blog. It allows authors to effortlessly find great blogs to publish their guest articles. For blog owners, it offers a database of unique quality content on any topic they can grab and publish and at their sites any time.

You might be better off just paying for blog writers. That way if your site revenue increases you won't be stuck with paying out a 'percentage' every time.
Also, it may be difficult to find blog writers willing to work for a percentage unless you give them an idea of how much they're going to make.

I agree, but I'm not sure if I want to pursue it any further although Tuesday it made me $161 just sitting there. I haven't updated it for months and it still brings in about 3000 people a month. Maybe I should just sell it?

I'm focusing more of my time on SkyrimGuild.com working on something for DefeatHIV.com and creating a luxury male candle brand. Gaming news changes too fast for me to keep up with it when I've got all of these other projects and I'm finishing up my BA.

I'n the next two months I'll be launching a blog, and will be paying some people as well, but for the most part, I'm going to reply on free posts. Paying to post is a failed business model unless your getting revenue from some other source besides ads.

I attempted to do the whole "free post" thing. I found a few people to write for me but they were fairly unreliable. We weren't breaking any news and in fact I had more traffic when I posted by myself. Some of my writers began to argue over comments on each other's posts and even with the readers when they disagreed with them. They would name call, curse and whatever else. Make sure you pick winners when you're looking for bloggers, there's a lot of losers out there. I "fired" one guy and he still writes me emails telling me I suck and that my site went to hell after he left when in reality my stats went down when he began posting. He was a college student with a 2nd grade vocabulary. It was all around a disaster.

I put an ad in craigslist, and I'm screening people who have degrees and they must write two 350 word samples for me on a topic of my choice. If I see they have good writing ability, I'll consider them.

There are freelancing sites like Odesk.com where you can post job descriptions to hire a blogger or have problogeer.com post a job on their job board for a blogger.

    Good luck!
