    Highschool Hustlers?

I'm a 16 year old 11th grade highschooler searching for a new venture to make money. If you're in school and you're constantly capitalizing on your peers, let me know your ventures/hustles/ideas/moneymakers.

Honestly, I don't like taking money from my friends. And I tend to gamble too much once I get going. Other than bets and selling illegal substances, there's not many ways to "hustle" at high school.

One thing you can do is sell candy. At my school, there are tons of people selling candy as fund raisers for clubs, sports teams, etc. However, you could sell it for yourself and say it is for some club. For example, I know the guitar teacher, and he would probably give me permission to say that I was selling for guitar even if I sell for myself.

I am thinking of doing this with suckers. A bag of 300 Dum Dums costs $6.49 at Target. That comes out to a little over 2 cents a piece. I would then sell them for a quarter each, which gives a profit of $68.51 per bag. There is really no selling involved. Just walking through the halls with candy, people will come up to you and buy it. Selling a bag a week should be no problem, especially since no one else sells them at my school.

Hope this idea helps. I am looking forward to hearing other ideas as well.

Go to Cafepress.com and make some of t-shirts with your schools name and a cool saying or logo, make them 10x better than the class tshirts.

Yeah, a couple of my friends had the same hustle back in 9th grade. They also did the same with cigars & blunts back in middle school, I think stolen. I agree, it's good money. They both recently went jail and juvie, one serving 4 years, for doing other illegal things. So I might as well do their candy thing. Right now it's fundraiser time, so I'll wait until that club run out.

    Thanks, I'll make it happen.

Selling candy is a very good way of making money in High School/Middle School/Elementary. I started out in Elementary selling small candy. Once in Middle School I started buying bulk candy packages at Sam's Club.

I was making pretty good profit every month, just all pay was in change so going to the bank and using their coin machine to exchange for cash was a once a month thing for me.

I had teachers buying from me, I sold 20 cents below the price of the vending machine at my school.

I did find myself in some trouble however on the bus, my bus driver thought I was selling marijuana on the bus. Another issue I ran into was someone robbed my locker.

If you are in school, I advice you to sell candy. It is a great way of bringing in extra income.

Great t-shirt idea! I'll make it work. I think I will make a couple personal shirts for me. Maybe even custom ones for other people.

lol, candy was for middle school. Im 15 right now, I found out mmorpg games that my friends were playing. I began to play and relized how to make fast virtual cash in the game. I then sold it 8$ (1million gold in game) I averaged 10m a day at a 3 hour playing spree. I am now begging to open up a new website and investing in the stock market. Good money is the stock market, if you know what you are doing

I try and try to make time just to beat GTA San Andreas. I havent touch my PS2 in a month. Unfortunately I dont have time for gaming, money or not. If had time I would. Maybe I could pay someone to do it.
It's nice to know I'm not the only one in my age group interested in stocks. I've been tracking stocks for the last 2 years (Favorite:Research in Motion "Blackberry" stock-RIMM). I'm looking to begin investing by this summer. I am currently a member of a fake stock market on fantasystockmarket.com.
When you set up your website PM me.
Thanks, I'll look into Game cash.

Agreed..... other people are to profit from, not your friends. If my friends ever wanted what im selling, they get it at cost.

When I was a freshmen in HS, I had an ebay account

accumlated over 300 feedback in HS, power seller status, just selling people's stuff. Of course, I had to do it under my mom's name because I was only 14 at the time.

Sell candy, yeah u can do that, I did that, not really exciting.

I sold car stereos, and installed them for people. I was basically mainly the ebay guy, and the car stereo guy, and walked around with watches off ebay.

everyone thought everything i sold was stolen, cause I bought it cheap on ebay and walked around school trying to sell stuff.

    ----------

Find something your interested, and do it, the first venture, most important just to do it, and screw up.

About the friend thing… Maybe I've grown colder over the years. My friends are lazy & ignorant with silver spoons in their mouths. I work hard for everything I get. So I might as well take as much as I can. When my friends piss me off. I dont get mad, I punish them by taking their cash.
So far as the illegal substances go; the money is not so good. A bunch of broke teens trying to live the their rapper dreams. Slow money that goes out quicker than it comes in.

I've never invested in the stock market so I can't give any advice. But from my own research if you don't have alot of money, blue chips aren't going to get you anywhere. You have to lean towards small/medium sized businesses that are growing and possibly even penny stocks, if the company looks promising.

    Ebay Hustle Good

My first entreprenurial experience was when in the 7th grade; I traded a cheap/fake cadillac ring to a classmate for about 15 watches, stolen?
I bought 2 old blackberry 957's off ebay for $10 a year ago. I just sold one for 5 times the price. Working on selling the second. Ebay's Great. I'm looking forward to increasing my the ebay hustle.

I have a few friends who sell cell phones - mostly Nextels. I never really understood it because they sold phones with no plans - so it was useless. It was just a phone with nothing else.

I would definitely consider buying cheap cell phones on ebay and selling them to people at school. Does anyone else do this? Any advice would be helpful.
