High volume printing! Help ....

Hello There,

I am trying to seek a qoute on a high volume amount of a4 catologues, 500 pages at the most. I am interested in the region of 100,000 units or more. I have contacted a fair few volume printers, some of them specialising in magazine printing into the millions of units, One replied saying that they cant give me a qoute becuase its not specific enough. But i gave them a spec of exactly how i woukd want it and an outline of the business, and another replied saying that they dont think its suitable for their plant so reclined to qoute. Where can i find a printer to complete this for me? They must exist becuase how would the YELL book get printed?

Any help would be of great assistance!

I used E sources a few years back and they were OK. The have business to business leads and stuff but it was totaly diferent stock I was looking for. It may be worth a look.
I am not alloewd to post links as I am just a new member so you can find them useing google.

Where are you based? are you just trying local printers?

for big projects I would go to somewhere like China, but im not sure exactly how often you need them and how quick they need to be done, so hard to say, what are they for?
